Baseball strategy: the call that raises your chance to win
Skippers Edge tells a baseball manager what the numbers say about the next move. Enter the inning, score, outs, runners and count, and it ranks your options by how much each one changes your chance to win: steal, hit and run, sacrifice bunt, squeeze, intentional walk, pitching change, infield in, and more.
Skippers Edge is advice, not an order. It does not know your player’s legs, the wind, or what you saw in the last inning.

Which levels of play does it cover? Youth, high school, college and pro. Pro numbers follow published run-expectancy tables. The other levels start from estimates, and you can tune them to your team with the adjustment controls.
Can I set the rules for my league? Yes. The game rules section sets the number of innings, whether extra innings start with a runner on second, and a mercy rule. A game clock is not modeled, so for a time limit set the last inning you expect to play.
What is leverage? It shows how much the next at-bat can swing the game. An average at-bat is 1, above 2 is high, and about 10 is as big as it gets.
Can I keep track of the calls I make? Yes. After a decision, tap “Log the call you made”. The game log shows how often you went with the model and lets you export the log as a spreadsheet (CSV) through your phone’s share sheet.
What is the success rate shown next to a steal, bunt or hit and run? It is the break-even rate: how often the play has to work for it to beat doing nothing. Compare it with the rate you expect from your own player.
Does the app work without internet? Yes. All calculation happens on your device.
Does it remember my settings? Your level, adjustments, game rules and game log are saved on your device only, so they are there next time. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to export the game log.
